Sharon Orrman-Rossiter is Managing Director and founder of Clarity Now Pty Ltd; the innovative business and career coaching company committed to coaching people to achieve excellence in the Knowledge Age. Using her entrepreneurial flair, leadership ability and vision for the future, Sharon has created a uniquely innovative business, which develops brain-based coaching tools for gaining clarity and turning dreams into reality. Sharon's business success story highlights a formidable pedigree of personal and professional achievements. Her business acumen was recognised when she was chosen as a finalist in the 2000 Telstra Business Women Awards©. She was nominated for the 2001 Hall of Fame for the Australian Business Women's Network. Sharon is past Chairman of the Board of the Monash University Centre for Biomedical Engineering; elected Chairman in 1996 after being asked to join the Board in 1995. Sharon and another member of the Clarity Now team were judges in the 2002 Telstra Business Women Awards©. Sharon was a judge in the 2003 Business & Professional Women Awards. Sharon joined a second Board in early 2004. An expert in coaching for performance, Dr Sharon Orrman-Rossiter has been a pioneer in the development and implementation of brain-based performance coaching. She has been developing and using unique coaching methods since 1991 and is an outstanding coach, mentor and public speaker. Clarity Now has been featured in two books and an audio CD because of the results that she and the Clarity Now team achieve. Sharon is a member of the the International Coaching Federation, the Neuroleadership Institute and the International Positive Psychology Association. Sharon has a BSc (Hons), majoring in organic chemistry. She has a Master of Science (UK) and a PhD in Medicine (UK) and has carried out cutting edge medical research in England and Australia, including research into brain chemicals (neurotransmitters). She has worked in the global pharmaceutical industry, where she held a number of senior management positions. Sharon has made significant achievements in business, by fostering authentic leadership in Australian business professionals as well as coaching individuals to create and build their own highly successful businesses. Sharon exemplifies the balance in her life that she coaches others to achieve. Among her interests, she is a competitive triathlete (representing Australia in the World Triathlon Championships in Olympic Distance, Lausanne (SUI) 2006 & Gold Coast (AUS) 2009 and Long Distance, Lorient (FRA) 2007), keen long board surfer & dancer.
